Thursday 9-11pm, Cold Sweat are a unique five-piece blues/rock and boogie/rock’n’roll band. Dennis
Robbins on piano and Hammond organ. Phil ‘Mr Cool’ Selby on lead guitar. Peter
Thompson on bass, Stan Clouting on drums and Simon Lovick on vocals. They have
performed at the last 6 DBF’s, performing from Robert Johnson, early Elvis, The Three
Kings, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins through to Dr Feelgood, Rolling Stones, Robert
Cray, Blues’n’Trouble and just so many more...

Friday 9-11 pm, Hayden Lloyd Blues/rock trio playing mostly original music much of which is
available on streaming platforms. Hayden Lloyd brings forth a revitalising blend of classic, blues and soul, infused with a contemporary alternative rock edge, featuring the rhythmic prowess of Luke Ellis on drums and the solid bass grooves of Matilda Jones.

Saturday
1-2 pm, Jon De’Konker Root are a lively, fun, West Norfolk based electric blues trio
covering the likes of John Mayall, Clapton, Peter Green, Muddy Waters, Elmore James,
Taj Mahal and many more. Previously known as “Stone Pepper Blues” they play
regularly across Norfolk and Cambridge. Ambassadors for blues they wow audiences
who are unaware of what Blues is or can be. Expect lots of stomping, slide, and
hollering!

3-5 pm, Uncalled Four are all old enough to know better, and yet young enough to play old school Rhythm & Blues with a spring in the step and a twinkle in the eye. And that’s R&B
of the broadest church with a twist of blues, a twang of country and a trace of Americana.
A couple of original tunes jostle side by side with classics from BB King, Ray Charles,
Georgie Fame, Bonnie Raitt, Stephen Bruton, Ry Cooder, and many more. Firm Norfolk
venue favourites.

6-8pm, Neil Grove’s Midnight Cannonball are a powerhouse three-piece
featuring dynamic drums and hot double bass, led by a 23 year old phenomena on guitar & vocals. Playing old school authentic upbeat swing & jump blues with R’n’R & jazz leanings. Think Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Dr Feelgood. Making waves
throughout Sussex & Kent, recently they have also headlined to much acclaim at other
festivals.

9-11 pm, Tony Edwards’ Blues Express Band leader Tony is Norfolk’s very own
blues guitar supremo (and Norfolk Blues Society’s jam session favourite). The band
plays “rockin’ good time” guitar led blues. This four-piece band has been put together
just to perform for the Dereham Blues Festival 2025. Tony is assisted by Norfolk
Blues Society house-band regulars Andy Cooper (Hammond Organ), Stewart Aitken
(Bass) and ace drummer Geoff Cooper coming out of retirement only for this festival
appearance . Expect hot, hot, hot up-tempo, dynamic stops, and classy scintillating
chops. Not for the faint of heart...

Sunday
1-3 pm, Ministry of Mojo are an experienced and dynamic five-piece Chicago blues
band, regularly gigging in Essex & Suffolk. Blues powered by shuffle & swing, they are
serious about blues and very serious about having fun playing - they generously offer an
antidote to complexity to all brethren of Mojo!

4-6 pm, Snake Oil Band is a high-energy electric blues powerhouse from North London,
known for electrifying performances and undeniable chemistry. With over a decade of
experience playing festivals, bars, and clubs, they consistently deliver crowd-pleasing
sets. Earlier this year, they packed out the legendary 100 Club and will return as
headliners for Tuesday Blues in April 2025. Fuelled by passion for blues and soul, their
dynamic stage presence makes every show unforgettable. The Snake Oil potion is
stronger than ever! Sons of Illinois, based in Essex and Suffolk, deliver energetic Chicago Blues with

7-9 pm, Blues Boys Kings are a rock blues band, consisting of Jase and Sami North,
Stevie Keys, and Jeff Rich. Recently returned from a successful European tour, they
have three studio albums and a new EP, ‘These Blues’, released in October 2023. Their
music features a powerful, energetic sound. They have supported top blues bands and
Sami was nominated for Best Blues Bassist in the British Blues Awards.
